Ben Benichou: A fitness Dad to the bone and all around amazing dude.

Dadhood is the best and good fathers deserve to be highlighted. This is a new feature at The Bad Dads Club called - Dad to the bone where we feature some of the coolest Dads we know. We ask them a few fun questions and let them take it away from there. Welcome to The Bad Dads Club - Ben Benichou.

Please tell us a bit about who you are?

Ben Benichou: My name is Benny, I'm a lucky husband, a proud dad and CEO at Unrtd.co (formerly Be Street). I'm also a French man living the American dream in Los Angeles!

How long have you been a Dad?

BB: Eight months.

Were or are you a baby wearing Dad?

BB: Yes

What is a fun thing that you did with your kids this week?

BB: A five day road trip through California. We travelled up PCH, all the way from L.A. to Carmel by the Sea, then San Francisco, and finally Big Sur before driving back home.

On a scale of 1 to 10 how would you rate your diaper changing ability?

BB: 10

What is your go to in a tantrum emergency?

BB: We are so lucky... we've never really experienced a "tantrum emergency" with Sasha. But when he's grumpy, I call the boss (AKA my lovely wife Shu).

What's the last movie you watched with your kids?

BB: We haven't started watching movies with him yet... but the first will probably be Back to the Future! Ok.. maybe The Lion King first...

What's your kid's favorite word?

BB: "Dada!" (or maybe "Dadadadadada"...)

The last book you read with your kids?

BB: ‘Why We Celebrate Chanukah’ by Howard M. Kurtz.

Favorite adult beverage?

BB: Beer!

Favorite Skate Video part and/or Disney Princess?

BB: Richie Jackson's "Death Skateboards," and Mulan (she's so badass!)

What makes you a "Bad Dad" (This is a good thing... AKA Way too awesome compared to everyone else)?

BB: I don't take things too seriously... I don't treat him like a baby, but more like a funny little person that's able to understand what's going on. We bring him with us almost everywhere; at least one or two days per week at the office (you need to teach them young!). We also have matching outfits - his favorite pajamas is a Buzz Lightyear one! But most importantly, I try to keep him away from my personal toy collection while I still can!
